Digital X-Rays

Your pet may in some situations need to have x-rays taken. Such situations may include fractured bones, arthritis, foreign body ingestion, heart, and lung problems. In such situations x-rays are an important diagnostic tool. The amount of radiation used for this is so low it does not pose a threat to your pet. At Pet Point Animal Hospital we use cutting edge digital x-ray equipment that give a clear image and greatly improve the chance of getting a diagnosis. Our veterinarians will read the images on site and whenever appropriate recommend electronically sending the images out to a radiologist for input from a specialist.
